It's amazing when your brain spends as little time in confusion and darkness as possible. This last week I was so grateful to be a part of a call on mindset for our Juice Plus team. It was an honor to stand in for the Cynthia Gompers, a 30+ year veteran in the company, and fill her shoes for the 30 minutes of insights and experience that her weekly calls always offer.
I was even more grateful to be doing this call with my longtime mentor and bestie, Lauri Aigner, with 17+ years in the business to her own. These weekly calls were an inspiration to me from the beginning of my journey in network marketing, and I don't say this enough – I am so so grateful as well for what this community and business has brought to my life.
First and foremost is the personal growth for me. I have long been a student of personal growth, because I believe if I'm not growing, I'm not serving the best I can. I put personal growth first in my calendar blocks, because it's that high up on my priority list.
So when I get to share a little bit of the nuggets that I have learned along the way, it's an honor and a blessing to pay it forward.
The focus of our call was business-related, but it can apply to everything – as all things do. Perspective is an ever changing illusion. So when we talked about Consistency, Discipline and Focus, sure we told our stories of how these weave into our business, but I know they weave into my life, relationships, hobbies, and dreams as well.
But the biggest takeaway for me in that is that you choose your own reality. I talk about this in many posts.
So I ask this... What if it all works out?
Whenever you're feeling challenged, you're in a spiral, you're thinking the worst. Ask yourself, what if it all works out, and see how that feels. Feel into the scenario of it working out, and let that visualization unfold.
Sometimes it's nice just to try on someone else's clothes.
This word has been in my field all year, but in the last month it's been front and center. The word is simple, "conformity in the application of something," is the short definition, and when applied to the learning of a skill, the success of a business, or the progress of health – consistency is the 'X Factor.'
It is the foundation for all things – it is our breath and our heartbeat, it is the sunlight that makes plants grow.
When we want to make a change in our life, we often take on more than we can chew, whether it's exercising, diet, meditation, or even career; if you remodel your life completely from the way it looks now, it will likely not be a sustainable remodel.
In our nutrition world we say "one simple change" at a time. Add more water for 21 days, and focus just on that. Add in a 2-mile walk for 21 days, and focus just on that. Why? Because it takes 21 days to create a habit. Mike Dooley and Deepak Chopra have made the 21-day course part of their foundation for education.
And in that foundation, lies the method of consistency. Daily, concerted action towards the creation of a new habit, and ultimately, a new you.
So this fall, take a look at your 4th quarter goals and intentions, pick one that you can chunk down into 21-day changes, and then focus on one change at a time, doing so for just 5 minutes a day.
Consistency is the true power in willpower.
About a month ago, my gatekeeper guide, Merlin, reminded me that I need to return to Crystal Gridding—layouts of crystals to amplify their power. I stored the idea away, and then when we were shopping for a crystal for our 15th anniversary, we walked into a store that had crystals layouts all over the store. I haven't been to a crystal shop in a long while, but the last two I was in didn't have any grids. So of course, I took this as a second reminder.
Then, the equinox came, and when I took a few crystals outside to bathe in the full moon equinox energy, one by one, all of our crystals said "take me outside too!" Before I knew it, we had a giant layout on our deck. I decided to leave it there to marinate in that beauty of color.
I urge you to take your stones and make a layout. If this become something you love, seek out Melody's book titled the Laying on of Stones, because crystal layouts can be a compelling practice! But start simple, with a towel or a piece of fabric (I like my old elk hide I traded for about 2 decades ago!), and start with a design—perhaps a circle, or a star, or a square.
Let the crystals and your intentions guide you, perhaps write your intentions on a piece of paper and place the layout over that, and then use this as an alter for meditation and visualization for the next week, two, or more. Don't overthink the layout, and if after a day you want to switch it up, that's okay! Think of it like a child's play of imagination, and let your heart open up while doing it.
Here are some images to inspire you.
In our last email, we talked about the world that no longer serves you... And in our video with Shamanic Practitioner Julie Tucek this week we covered what that means a little deeper... be it the job, relationship, location, mindset, or food intake, if it's no longer serving you, it's time to let it go.
But the world that will stand by you forever, and the world that needs your love and gratitude, is our Mother Earth and all her splendor.
As exhibited by her erratic weather patterns, depleted soil and minerals, and struggling animal kingdom, Mother Earth needs us right now.
So be a good human and see what you can do in your community to help her; spend some time in reflection, meditation and visualization to send her love and healing; and give back in ways that feel good to you, because that will, in turn, feel good to her.
When you're dancing at a show, think of her supporting your feet. When you're swimming in her waters, send her aqua kingdom love and light. When you're in her forests, take a moment to hug a tree and ground with its roots.
Many of us are focused on "getting into 5D," but we can't do that without our Mother's anchoring, grounding energy to balance the universe's uplifting, enlightening energy.
The in-between is where the magic is.
Last week we talked about the world that no longer serves us, and how letting go of the masculine energy will help us step into the Divine Feminine.
What's been on my mind lately is the community I know I will be a part of creating soon. Since living on an "intentional community" in Oregon in the 1990s, I have wanted to create a community with intention. One with a lot of land in the woods, with huge gardens to support its residents, and with a group of people who want to make the world a better place. If the last 18 months have taught me anything, it's that this vision of mine is more important to manifest than ever.
More and more of my friends are talking about similar visions, and I know many thought leaders of our time have talked about this concept being perhaps our only shot at healing and repairing what damage we've done to Mother Earth.
In this model lies the true human potential and defines a new way to be human. A way that thinks about the whole again—the collective; the community; the future. Letting go of the "nuclear family" model and embracing the communal family model again.
This is actually the "old way," isn't it? Where tribes took care of each other, and built sustainable systems with longevity as a goal, thinking about a world they were building (and leaving) for their children and grandchildren. We've lost this way in our modern industrial age, and now is the time to recreate some of that model, with adjustments that fit our modern age. This "new" way is a way to connect and bridge those worlds—and connection is indeed a key to unlocking that true human potential.
So, in the spirit of connection, write to me, and tell me, if you were to create a community like this, what would you want to see included? Skies the limit. Think of the collective.
Last week I talked about Being the Light – choosing to be, inspire, and embody that which you want to see in the world, so that we can create a better one.
What's been on our hearts this week is that we are all starting to see that the old way doesn't work anymore. We are shifting into the Divine Feminine reality and man, oh man (pun intended), is that hard to let go of for most of us.
For one, the new way is undefined. And when we long for safety, well, undefined is just plain scary. But another reason it's hard to let go of is because we've lived this way our whole life and patterns run deep. So, it's up to us to derail the train and create a new track.
If you haven't been hearing the term "Divine Feminine" in the last few years, deep dive that one to read a variety of perspectives. For me, it means letting go of an outdated, patriarchal society that isn't open to releasing power because in a world where Ego rules, Ego will grasp the old reality until the white knuckles bleed. For me, it's hard to let go of the Masculine way because it can mean logical decision making, strength in the face of fear, and security in that. But when I embrace my feminine side, it is a joy to allow fluidity and let synchronicity guide me, to be compassionate and loving, to be strong in a different way – a more grounded, balanced, and relenting way. The Divine Feminine reality is open to diversity, schools our children differently, grows our food more sustainably, treats the Earth more responsibly, lets go of anger, resentment, litigation, and manipulation.
What has to fall away are some pretty big belief systems like the way we build communities, the way we look at health, and the way we make money. It will take time, but we are doing this work NOW. And we all came here now TO do this work. So don't shy away from it. Lean in and embrace it, embrace that together we are manifesting a new way to Be Human. And don't give up on that. More on the new way next week. . . until then, give yourself grace in this. It's OK that it's going to be a bumpy ride.
We're in this together,
This week, it's even more evident to me (than it's been in the prior 15 months) that the world is changing, and that it is still critical on an energetic level to be aware of what that change is for you and for the world we want to build.
Bottom line, when we see an opportunity to "Be the Light," it's up to us to do so. At every single turn. I know that can be a lot to have to stay conscious of our daily choices and thoughts, but it's vital. This is a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure dimension (if you're too young to know what those books were, Google it). In this instance, I mean that we are constantly creating our reality at every moment. This is just like "what you focus on expands." If you focus on something you're afraid of, it'll be placed in front of you until you aren't afraid of it anymore, because that's what you've chosen to work on. At every level, it's all about choice.
Those choices are subtle. We aren't always aware of them. Again, that's the tricky part – staying conscious. It's so easy to be lulled to sleep in this dimension, but when we forget to be mindful of our mind, to catch the judging thoughts mid-air, to focus on the good, to BE that which we want to see in the world – love, kindness, joy, fun, hope, support – whatever that is you need at a basic level; when we forget and slip up, what happens? We are reminded.
So make it your priority this week to Be the Light. And be the light for yourself and others. And let's start saying goodbye to this world that no longer serves us.
More on that next week... until then, accept imperfection, because there's nothing worse than trying to do it perfectly.

All the best,
Your friends at Innerself Lightworks ♥
Hello from Lake George, NY!
My husband's family is from this area, 4+ hours northwest of NYNY, deep in the mountains of the Adirondacks, and we come here every summer for a week or more to gather with his 4 sisters and parents to spend time on a big, "finger lake," glacier formed and crystal clear. We spend time with family and cousins, and we pack in the fun.
And the prevailing conversation this week is health: living healthy, strong, and keeping our health and mind protected from outside influences. While our population is still very polarized on many subjects, we can all agree on one thing: We need to take care of our health, because without that, we have nothing. There's a saying "when you have good health, you can dream of all things; when you don't have good health, you dream of only one thing."
To digress for a moment: there is a learning module in our Manifesting with Synchronicity course that covers health, living clean, and protecting our health with both healthy habits and a healthy mind, and I live by these practices. To learn more about MWS, visit our site. This course is your go-to for all things health and positivity – practices, universal laws, developing healthy mind body habits, and so so much more.
But back to health, and specifically, the mind: for our conversation of the week: protecting our space – and getting sucked into someone else's. When you get sucked into someone else's energy, it can send you down in vibration, so it's important to protect your mind to protect your health.
Here are the ways I make sure to remind myself to protect my mind, mind space, heart space, and body.
All of this and more, again, are in our courses. Both Manifesting with Synchronicity and Awakening the Intuitive Within help to keep your head right, help clear out patterns that no longer serve you, and help to keep your vibration high so you can manifest the life of your dreams.
What is your biggest dream?
This week, I seem to be conversing more than usual about having a high-vibe morning routine. You haven't established a morning routine for yourself or you aren't perhaps even familiar with the concept, a morning routine is something that will set your day off right, all of the greats have one, all of the successful people swear by one, and since I started doing mine, I have noticed a general piece that prevails throughout my day established first thing in the morning.
I have witnessed through the pandemic that many friends spent a little more time focusing on setting boundaries within our own home and making sure that we have our own space – our own time. But, of course, that isn't always possible, especially when you have children. A disruption in your day can come from anywhere – from work; from family; from a random phone call – and when we have worked on our positive mindset from the get-go in the morning, those disruptions are less derailing.
Morning routine doesn't have to be meditate, work out, eat a green smoothie. But it definitely should include time away from your phone, quiet time for reflection, and movement, if possible. When we start our day jumping right into the notifications and interruptions from our phone, that can send us into any kind of emotional stress, or when we skip over the self-care, it's a recipe for long-term adrenal fatigue, or responding from a place of frustration versus peace and calm.
My morning routine fluctuates because I like change, but it includes some or all of these elements:
Before I even get out of bed, I put my hand over my heart and I say a few things that I am grateful for... Sometimes, that might just be my bed. But if I get into that space of appreciation from my heart, I carry that with me all day. I have the book Gratitude by Louise Hay, and sometimes I will read a passage from that book and journal as well.
I always start my day with a big glass of water with lemon; in the winter it is warm. And for the last 15 months or so, I have followed that up with another big glass of celery juice. I find this moves my body into the alkaline state. Immediately, I feel vibrant. It raises my vibration, and I know I'm flushing the toxins that my body pushed out from the night before.
Whether it's yoga, a HIT workout, or a hike in the summer and a snowboard session in the winter, movement is part of my daily routine. I like for it to be in the morning because then I feel like it charges my brain and my body. To do it in the afternoon, I am typically not motivated to do so. I am a firm believer in the "eat the frog first" philosophy, where you get the toughest thing out of the way first, then the rest of the tasks don't seem so daunting. Sometimes, moving my body does feel like a chore, so I try to remember to make sure to make it fun and playful!
This summer, I have been taking in my celery juice on the front step in our flowering garden with our kittens. Well, they aren't kittens anymore but they still act like it, and it's fun to watch them chase the crickets, sniff all the flowers, eat blades of grass and watch the birds. It brings my focus back to the simplicity of life, to slow down a little bit in the morning and to set that pace for the rest of my day. 3 days a week I take in a hike, and so spending that extra time in the woods helps me process, connects me to Source and Mother at once, and I often come up with some of my best ideas in the woods. Sometimes, I record a visualization, too, and share that to our YouTube channel!
So, although this sounds like a lot, by the time I have done most of these things, it's often still early in the morning and I have my whole day to be the busy human I like to be. But, when I start my day like this, I'm a little less busy.
I also like to have a night routine, but it doesn't always happen, which makes the morning routine that much more important. At night, I will play with the kittens, then reflect, journal, and practice a little night yoga that helps me sleep. Then, I listen to a visualization or meditation; I like to do my meditating at night, but not everyone can do that. If it puts you to sleep, you'll need to find another time to do yours.
I hope you have a morning routine, or that this helps to inspire you to lock one in. Even if it's just choosing one thing to start, and adding on to it bit by bit. Habits are created in 21 days, so there's no time like the present to get started!
